Overview The GP Tech v4 Leather Suit is Alpinestars' new technical, professional spec 1pc racing leather suit. It uses feedback from Alpinestars’ top athletes to deliver race-grade technology, optimized for performance, protection, and comfort. Tech-Air® 10 ready, this suit offers superior freedom of movement and high-level ventilation through innovative new materials, including MATRYX® ultra abrasion-resistant and highly breathable zones, Cool-iR Tech treatment to prevent heat build-up, and Kevlar® net bonding reinforcement for the prevention of heat transfer.
Key Features
  • Advanced material construction with MATRYX® structural panels on the thigh, abdomen, chest, and back hump for ventilation and mechanical resistance to tearing and abrasion. The panels are thin, lightweight, and reinforced with Kevlar® to prevent heat transfer.
  • MATRYX® lower leg construction with high-performance PU, directly derived from MotoGP. This design delivers lightweight construction, enhanced ventilation, and superior freedom of movement.
  • Engineered for Tech-Air® 10 compatibility, the suit is designed to accommodate the Tech-Air® 10 Airbag System, which includes extended hip protection.
  • The suit features a slot on the left forearm to accommodate the Tech-Air® 10 Airbag System’s wireless LED display.
  • Cool-iR Tech treatment embedded in the leather to prevent heat build-up, reflecting infrared rays to regulate temperature inside the suit.
  • Race fit – pre-curved body, arms, and knees for enhanced performance.
Protection
  • Kangaroo leather in high-flex zones (arms, hips, abdomen) and race-grade bovine leather for a perfect blend of weight-saving, high performance, and comfort.
  • Kevlar® stretch paneling around chest, inner arms, crotch, and back leg for enhanced comfort and strength.
  • GP DFS armor for resistance against impacts and abrasion with exceptional friction control.
  • Replaceable elbow sliders.
  • Internal Race spec GP-R Lite armor offers soft comfort and extended coverage for additional protection in key zones.
  • Bio-Flex Race hip armor for optimal resistance to impacts.
Ventilation
  • Strategic perforations on the arms and legs for optimized airflow.
  • Zippered detachable short leg comfort liner with Polygiene® treatment for long-lasting freshness.
Additional Features
  • Internal paddock waist hook system to keep the suit in place when off the bike, particularly while moving around the paddock or in the pit garage.
